At a moment when the Gulf is emerging as one of the world’s most ambitious hubs for impact investment and climate finance, two organizations with complementary strengths are joining forces to make that ambition count. Human Planet and Chemonics Gulf announced a strategic partnership, anchored in the United Arab Emirates and built on a shared belief: that capital and delivery achieve far more together than apart.

Getting capital is not the same as creating impact. In the world of climate finance, structuring a deal is not enough. Delivery systems are needed to put the capital to work.

From crisis response to national recovery, Chemonics’ 14-year journey in Syria shows what long-term delivery looks like in practice. By adapting as conditions changed while continuing to deliver, Chemonics has helped communities navigate crisis, strengthened local systems, and supported Syria’s transition towards recovery.

After armed conflict broke out in Sudan, Chemonics provided emergency aid and critical information during the crisis. Chemonics reached an estimated 13 million beneficiaries through support to and activities with host community government authorities, nongovernmental organizations, nascent groups, media outlets, community groups, and others.
