Muhammad Tariq

Pakistan Country Director, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project Dr. Muhammad Tariq

Dr. Muhammad Tariq is a physician and supply chain expert with more than 30 years of management and technical experience in global health and health systems. He currently serves as the country director for the GHSC-PSM Pakistan program. Muhammad has extensive experience in initiating and successfully executing programs at Family Health International (FHI), Population Services International (PSI), and John Snow, Inc (JSI). He has managed diverse funding sources from USAID, DFID, World Bank, GFATM, the Gates Foundation, SIDA, and public sector development programs. His professional experience encompasses providing technical assistance to African, Asian and Middle Eastern countries for more than nineteen years related to health systems, family planning, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and supply chain management (SCM) within public sector service delivery systems. Muhammad earned a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Washington with a focus on global health and health services.
