Public Health Specialist Mai-Anh Hoang

Mai-Anh Hoang is a public health specialist with 15 years of experience in global health. She has managed several donor funded initiatives in nutrition education, nutrition and HIV, micronutrient implementation research, HIV prevention, tobacco control, and integrated health service delivery models in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. She has expertise in business development, technical writing and donor-funded program design, management, and monitoring and learning. Before joining Chemonics, she worked with FHI 360 in Vietnam on the global Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance II (FANTA-2) program as the resident technical manager. She has previously worked at RTI International, Management Sciences for Health, and Johns Hopkins University in program management and business development roles. Ms. Hoang has an M.P.H. in international health from Emory University and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
