
Rachel Deussom is a globally recognized health systems strategist with over 20 years of experience advancing equitable outcomes across 18 countries. Her leadership on initiatives with the U.S. government, the World Health Organization, the World Bank, Gavi, and the Gates Foundation have driven policy reform and multisectoral collaboration. As global technical director for the U.S. government’s HRH2030 Program, she developed strategies and tools to elevate frontline health workers, systems thinking and resilience. On the Steering Committee of the Frontline Health Workers Coalition, she champions equity, financing, and workforce well-being. A WomenLift Health fellow and trained doula, Rachel holds degrees from Georgetown and Harvard and taught at the George Washington University.
