Vanessa Roy

Expert, Food Security Analysis

Vanessa Roy has ten years of experience in food security analysis and decision support. As a Deputy Chief of Party for Analysis with the Famine Early Warning System Network (FEWS NET), she oversees the teams responsible for producing high-quality food security projections and decision support products for the U.S. Government. Vanessa brings expertise in quantitative modeling, risk analysis, and international humanitarian response. Prior to FEWS NET, she worked at the International Rescue Committee and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ukraine. Vanessa holds an MA in Economics and International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
