Garron Hansen

Senior Vice President, Growth

Garron Hansen serves as Senior Vice President of the Growth Division drawing upon more than 25 years of experience driving strategic growth across corporations, foundations, and governments on multiple continents.  He previously served as integration lead for Chemonics Europe and as senior vice president for Chemonics’ West Africa and Haiti portfolio, managing business operations and expanding Chemonics’ breadth of projects. Prior to joining Chemonics, he was a strategy program officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where he managed a $187 million portfolio of 17 investments targeting agricultural markets in Africa, providing oversight of investees and grantees, and offering strategic advice on implementation. He spent six years living in Rwanda and Kenya working in private sector development and agriculture. 

Garron holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia. He is on the Advisory Council of the Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Board of the Society for International Development.
