Final Report: Agriculture and Rural Development Support Project.
Project Report | August 28, 2020
This final report recaps the accomplishments and lessons learned from the ARDS program in Ukraine, which supported the agriculture sector to improve livelihoods in rural areas.
The Agriculture and Rural Development Support program (ARDS) supported broad-based, resilient economic growth through a more inclusive, competitive, and better-governed agriculture sector that provided attractive livelihoods in rural areas. ARDS worked with stakeholders to implement an array of solutions to market-system failures that span the enabling environment, including land markets, policies, governance, and rights, as well as direct engagement and synchronization of both the core and supporting functions of various agricultural value chains. This final report provides an overview of the project’s activities and the legacy built as a result, as well as the lessons learn throughout the project.
