Deputy Chief of Party Nelum Gamage

Nelum Gamage is an expert in management and research, including more than 25 years of involvement in anti-corruption activities. She is currently the deputy chief of party for the USAID Coherent, Open, Responsive, and Effective Justice (CORE Justice) program in Sri Lanka. Ms. Gamage is a former bribery commissioner (the first woman to hold the post) and a director general of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) in Sri Lanka and has also served as an additional secretary to the Ministry of Justice, a director of Transparency International Sri Lanka, and a consultant at the Legal Aid Commission of Sri Lanka. She is an attorney-at-law and holds a Bachelor in Laws degree and a Master in Laws degree in international economic law from the University of Colombo.
