Nepal Country Director, USAID Global Health Supply Chain Program-Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project Max Kabalisa

Max Kabalisa is a public health expert with nearly 17 years of Pharmaceutical Supply chain experience, including 16 years implementing USAID-funded public health supply chain projects in countries across Africa and Asia. He is currently the Country Director for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project in Nepal. His expertise includes supply chain management, management information systems, health systems strengthening, strategic planning and management, systems evaluation and design, warehousing and distribution, inventory management, performance management, capacity development, pharmaceutical regulatory systems, and program management. He was previously the Technical Director for GHSC-PSM in Rwanda, and Senior Technical Advisor for Health systems strengthening for USAID|DELIVER and Supply Chain Management Project in Rwanda. Max holds an MSc in Epidemiology from University of Rwanda, a MiniMasters in Global Supply chain Management from W.P Carey School of Business, ASU, and a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences – India.
