Private Sector Engagement Lead Jessica Soto

Jessica Soto has more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning and management of policy reforms and international affairs. Currently, Jessica is the private sector engagement lead for the Transparent Public Investment USAID Project in Peru. Previously, she has occupied high-level and managerial positions in the Peruvian public sector, designing and implementing public policies and building institutional capacities. She also worked at the National Confederation of Private Business Associations and in various private-sector-led initiatives such as the American Business Dialogue and the Business Council of the Pacific Alliance, promoting policy recommendations and action plans and fostering high-level public-private dialogue. An economist at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Fulbright Scholar, Jessica holds a master’s degree in public policy from University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in economics from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
