Deputy Chief of Party Fahima Zahir
Fahima Zahir is an operations and compliance specialist with more than 10 years of experience managing grants, subcontracts, and other procurement mechanisms. She is currently deputy chief of party (compliance and operations) on the Cities Implementing Transparent, Innovative, and Effective Solutions (CITIES) Project in Jordan. She is a skilled expert in drafting and negotiating subcontracts, managing procurement, and ensuring that all procurements comply with USAID regulations. Prior to CITIES, Ms. Zahir served as compliance advisor & gender liaison and as deputy chief of party on the USAID-funded Regional Afghan Municipalities Program for Urban Populations (RAMP UP) Program. Ms. Zahir holds a B.Sc. in decision science and management information systems from George Mason University.
