Director Alix J. Harou
Alix Harou is a program management unit director under the Global Health Division for the Global Health Supply Chain – Technical Assistance Program, Francophone, and IHSC-TA Cote d’Ivoire Task Orders. She is both a domestic and global public health professional with more than 15 years of experience providing country-specific managerial and technical support for vulnerable populations and has technical expertise in areas including multi-sectorial nutrition, WASH, social and behavior change, maternal child health, immunization, HIV/AIDS, emergency preparedness, and supply chain management. Alix joined Chemonics with GHSC-PSM managing several Francophone country portfolios, such as Burkina Faso for which she also managed the implementation of Global Health Security Agenda activities. Prior to joining Chemonics, Alix worked at John Snow Inc. as a social and behavior change specialist on a global nutrition USAID-funded project, and developed and facilitated several training events for the DREAMS Innovation Challenge and the International Organization for Migration senior staff under the Expanded Vaccination Program. Alix has a BA in psychology, a social work degree, and an MPH from the University of Massachusetts.
