Chris Perine

Expert, Environmental Management and Infrastructure Development

Chris Perine is a climate resilience and environmental management specialist with more than 30 years of experience designing and implementing large, complex programs around the world for public and private sector clients. With a background in urban and environmental planning, he specializes in environmental management, environmental impact assessment, urban management, and infrastructure development and has designed and managed large-scale infrastructure projects, including those related to roads, bridges, culverts, irrigation systems, industrial estates, community centers, and national park facilities. Chris served as team lead on the $18.6 million, five-year, U.S. Government-funded Adaptation Thought Leadership and Assessment (ATLAS) activity and led the start-up team for a $249 million global climate finance program. He has deep experience working in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Chris has a master’s degree in environmental planning and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Virginia.
