
Enrique Rivas is a seasoned environmental management expert with over two decades of leadership in sustainable development across Latin America. He led the Peru Bosques project, advancing forest policy and governance, biodiversity conservation, and the creation of a pioneering timber traceability system. In Panama, he directed the Community Forestry in Darién program, promoting sustainable forest management and economic opportunities for Indigenous communities. He has also worked extensively with agriculture supply chains in Bolivia. Enrique’s strategic vision and technical innovation have positioned him as a transformative force in environmental governance and resource management. Enrique holds a post-graduate diploma in agribusiness from the Technological Institute of Superior Studies in Monterrey, Mexico and a B.S. in agriculture from the Universidad Mayor de San Simon in Cochabamba, Bolivia and Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina.
