The Centre National de Promotion des Investissements Privés was a national private investment promotion entity in Guinea created by the Private Agribusiness project. To better prepare staff, USAID created the Human Resources Development project to build the capacity of the center to promote private sector development.
The project training included building the capacity to conduct investment assessments, gather knowledge of the regulatory framework, understand investment decision-making, and improve techniques for work plan design.
At the conclusion of the project, participants were able to perform the tasks necessary to promote private sector investment in Guinea.
Project Duration: 1989 − 1990.
