Anthony Savelli has more than 20 years of experience leading pharmaceutical and supply chain management, procurement, and community-based health projects in Africa and Asia. He also gained extensive experience in health systems strengthening, capacity building, grants management, and community health as chief of party for both the Afghanistan Health Services Enhancement Project and Rural Expansion of Afghanistan’s Community-based Healthcare (REACH) project. More recently, Mr. Savelli was interim chief of party for the USAID/Kenya Pharma project and was the director of both the Kenya Pharma and Rwanda Family Health projects. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Dominica, he served as the interim director of pharmacy in a 280-bed hospital where he designed and launched an outpatient pharmacy. Mr. Savelli has a Bachelor’s in pharmacy and a Master’s in public and international affairs both from the University of Pittsburgh.
