Our ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System challenges us to continually improve our processes and approaches in order to deliver the best possible results in the field.

Client Service

Our ISO 9001:2008-certified Quality Management System (QMS) ensures we deliver quality services and products to clients and partners. Externally audited each year and re-certified every three years, our QMS is the backbone of our operations as a company. It provides staff with a comprehensive set of tools that allow us to more effectively and efficiently fulfill our mission.

Development Focus

Our QMS strengthens the quality of support that field offices receive from our home office, helping us improve and continually enhance our ability to achieve development results and impact. Drawing from our own experiences in managing change and implementing our QMS, we are better able to advise a wide variety of organizations through our development work on obtaining and maintaining ISO 9001 certification or just building a QMS for their businesses to improve and streamline internal operations.

A recent example of our commitment to quality management is the ISO 9001:2008 certification of our USAID-funded Kenya Pharma project, which provides a reliable supply of high-quality, low-priced pharmaceutical commodities for people with HIV/AIDS in Kenya. This systematic private sector approach to quality ensures that Kenya Pharma more effectively and efficiently serves those Kenyans in need. Finally, through the ISO 9001 certification process we have built the capacity of our Kenyan staff to manage world-class supply chains, and will enable Chemonics to hand over a proven, internationally certified supply chain system to a Kenyan organization at the conclusion of the project, contributing towards long-term sustainability.

Continual Improvement

Our QMS establishes and supports our systematic approach to continual improvement, which is a natural extension of our commitment to excellence. Our quality management experts evaluate processes to improve efficiency, while also encouraging clients, staff, and other partners to offer suggestions on ways to improve business processes.
