The Entry Level Professionals (ELP) program supports newly-hired associates to become effective employee-owners of Chemonics. Participants in the program will develop a broad understanding of Chemonics, engage with colleagues to share ideas and best practices, address concerns and receive guidance, and visualize a career path within the company. The program has a long history at Chemonics, with many current senior leaders who started as associates in the ELP program.
Newly-hired associates will be members of an ELP group with other associates hired around the same time. Over the course of the one year period, associates will attend five forums to meet with other associates to share ideas and best practices, address areas of opportunity, and receive guidance on professional development. Additionally, learning events will be offered quarterly through which associates will gain knowledge about specializations and an understanding of career paths within Chemonics. These events provide an extra layer of support for associates as they advance through their first year at the company.
