Chris Scott takes over as vice president of PDS division
Executive Vice President Susi Mudge has announced that Chris Scott, a director in the Middle East region, will take over as senior vice president of the Project Development and Support division on December 3. Scott succeeds Nancy Zlotsky, who assumed leadership of the Africa division from Erran Persley in October.

Small business fair attracts partners in development
Representatives from 20 small businesses learned how to partner with Chemonics and networked with Chemonics staff at the company’s Small Business Fair on Thursday, November 15. The event also featured small businesses’ contributions to international development.

Butcher returns to Europe and Eurasia region as vice president
President and CEO Richard Dreiman has named Jamey Butcher as senior vice president of the Europe and Eurasia, citing Butcher’s well-rounded leadership experience in the region. Butcher took over on November 12, in time to work with the region on its 2008 strategy.

Nancy Zlotsky named vice president of Africa region
Nancy Zlotsky will become Chemonics’ next senior vice president of the Africa region, said President and CEO Richard Dreiman on October 12. Zlotsky, who joined Chemonics in 1988, has served as senior vice president of the Project Development and Support division since February 2005.

Chemonics to implement OTI project in Lebanon
The Lebanon Stabilization and Transition Initiative will support civil society efforts to foster stability, dialogue, and community development as a means of strengthening democratic institutions. The project, funded by USAID's Office of Transition Initiatives, is Chemonics’ first to be based in Lebanon.

Eric Howell to become Chemonics' next chief financial officer
Eric Howell has been named the next chief financial officer of Chemonics International, said President and CEO Richard Dreiman. Howell succeeds Ghassan Nakad, who announced in August his intent to step down as he prepares to move to Egypt.
